We had a fantastic time last Friday celebrating "Good Samaritan" Day. We dressed up our female students in traditional Oaxacan dresses, and made jamaica and horchata to give out to passersby:

There was a great moment when some American tourists came by, and looked confused by the proceedings and walked by. One of our students yelled in English, "Come back! It's free!"

Help demand that our friends at the Jordan, Jesse, Go podcast come to Oaxaca. You may remember Español Interactivo advertised on their podcast a while back. I would be great to see them perform here, and maybe try out their Spanish!

Forget Santa! Here in Mexico, the presents are brought today by los Reyes Magos, or, the Three Wise Men. Of course, most Mexican kids get presents for Christmas too so, doubly lucky.
